Queen Elizabeth II’s Centenary: What Her Birth Chart Reveals
Queen Elizabeth II was one of the most remarkable figures of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Born on 21 April 1926, she became the longest-reigning monarch in British history and a symbol of continuity, stability, and duty. Having had the great benefit of studying Bazi with Grand Master Chan, I found it especially interesting to examine Queen Elizabeth II’s birth chart on the occasion of this anniversary.
Timing of Birth: Was She Destined to Reign?
She was born on a yang metal day in the third month of spring, a Dragon earth month. In spring, metal is weak and needs earth to support it. Luckily, there is plenty of earth in the chart: Dragon earth in the day branch, Ox earth in the hour branch.
The Earth branches support the Yang Metal, so the metal in the horoscope is strong.
There is Yang Fire year stem and a Yin Fire hour stem, what is needed for a strong metal chart. Fire supports the earth and makes the strong metal useful. There is the right balance between the metal and fire. „Making the Seal”: Body and Sat in her chart are in balance, which means the person can become very famous. Another important fact that contributes to her becoming well-known: the metal is empty making a loud sound.
Analysing the weaknesses, form and support of Queen Elisabeth II horoscope
The feeding Jing Yan and Pin Yan earth are too strong in the chart. The earth is too dominant and thick which isn’t ideal for a strong metal chart.
The Form: Pin Yan is the form as both the day branch and the monthly leader have it.
Using Elements: Strong metal needs to be drained. Water, wood, fire.
Empty palaces: Gip choi metal (representing her sister Princess Margaret) is a missing element here.
Years that shaped Queen Elisabeth’s II destiny
I would like to consider her eventful life based on the supportive elements in the fate pillars.
Elizabeth’s father became King George VI when she was 10 years old. Elisabeth became presumptive to the throne.
1936, a Yang Fire Rat year, brings her supportive elements already indicating her future power role.
Queen Elisabeth II marriage and family life
In 1947, a Yin Fire Pig (Water) year, Elisabeth fell in love with Philip.
Yin Fire represents Kun - the husband - in her chart. Elisabeth’s Day Branch has Dragon Earth. It is representing her husband’s support for her Yang Metal.
Their marriage lasted 73 years - the longest royal marriage in history.
Within her Jing Yan earth fate from 1951 to 1960 she became the heir to the throne. In June 1953, she was crowned the Queen of England. This year helped her come to power as that year’s stem Yin Water and year’s branch Snake (Fire) are her supportive elements. Also the U Snake is her Pin Kun power in her chart.
Why her children stand in her shadow
Her four children are represented in the Yin Fire Ox hour pillar. It has the Mao Palace, which is the Metal tomb. It is not lucky to have one’s tomb in the strong chart. This palace suggest a lack of action, being rather passive. So it’s not surprising that it is hard for her children to step out of her shadow.
Queen Elizabeth II’s final years and passing
Between 2010 and 2019, her age was 85 to 94. In spite of her weakening health, she was still performing her royal duties. This fate period is Yin Water stem and Sheep Yin Earth Branch. Yin Water clashes with Yin Fire and Sheep Earth clashes with Ox Earth in her hour affecting and weakening her career aspect.
The amount of earth is getting too thick for this Metal chart, eventually burying the Metal. She died in a Yang Water year crushing her Yang Fire year of birth in the Yin Earth month of September.
The inherent sickness of the chart, too strong Jing Yan and Pin Yan (represented by earth) advanced to the final stage of burying the Metal. Queen Elisabeth II passed away on 8 September 2022 at Balmoral Castle Scotland at the age of 96.
