Autumn Camp in Pyrenees, France
Celebrating the autumn equinox, we’re excited to share insights and experiences from our recent annual gathering at the beautiful Pyrenees during the autumn camp, followed by a unique Yin Feng Shui course. This event was a wonderful opportunity for members of the Chue Foundation to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another, especially under the guidance of Grand Master Chan. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, there's always something valuable to discover in the world of Chue Style Feng Shui.
Grand Master Chan reminded us that a deep understanding of Feng Shui can enhance our careers, no matter the field or industry. Feng Shui connects with everything: history, present circumstances, and future possibilities. It is about understanding energy and its application in all aspects of life.
Let's dive into the highlights of our time together!
In early September, our members gathered in France for the traditional autumn camp. Over the course of two days, we had the opportunity to explore the city of Pau and the town of Cauterets, as well as share our research through presentations. These days are always very valuable, not only students get to spend time with Grand Master Chan in
an informal environment, we also learn so much!
While walking through the city of Pau with Grand Master Chan, he explained why this city is so successful, highlighting its renowned education system and its historical significance, including the fact that it produced Henry IV of France. Grand Master Chan, with his deep understanding of energy, can assess the strengths and weaknesses of any
environment, regardless of its scale, even without knowing its history.
After our visit to Pau, we traveled to Cauterets, a ski resort that comes alive with activity in the summer. Nestled in the heart of the Pyrenees, it boasts pure nature, healing waters, and majestic mountains. However, Grand Master Chan pointed out that sometimes the mountains can be too imposing or too close to the town, which can block energy or
disrupt its flow. Similarly, the characteristics of water are crucial; we observed how a fast flowing river can create problems, especially when it runs beneath buildings or crashes against them.
If water flows too rapidly through a town, it can deter future generations from staying, leading to eventual decline. We identified the town's strongest areas, where the most luxurious buildings were situated, based on the various forms of water present.
Water, mountains, and other elements can generate positive energy or cause destruction, as Chi follows the form. To thrive and avoid disaster, we must deepen our understanding of the environment.
“Every day I am also learning.” Grand Master Chan Kun Wah. He taught students how the mountains, rivers, surroundings, and city forms impact the energy of a city, which is essential for its success.
On the second day of the autumn camp, our members shared their research on a variety of fascinating topics. These included Feng Shui in real estate development, Personal Fate, Chinese calligraphy, transgender Ba Zi, Dice I Ching, Garden Feng Shui consultation, and the development of our Chue Style courses. We even had a lesson from Grand Master Chan on how to conduct Feng Shui consultations more efficiently using Ba Chop to address Sat Chi.
We all learned so much and had the privilege to connect, share, and strengthen our future together. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and thankful to Grand Master Chan for sharing his vast knowledge and being such an inspiring presence! We express our heartfelt gratitude to our Senior Masters for their hard work and dedication, which are essential for the continued growth of Chue Style Feng Shui into the future.
