Feng Shui and (past) relationships
A woman contacted me for a Feng Shui consultation regarding her house. She could not exactly tell me why, but she definitely wanted me to come. It struck me that she talked a lot about her late husband, so I thought he had died recently. After questioning her, she told me her husband died 15 years ago and that she has lived with her current partner for 10 years in the same house together with his teenage daughter. interesting to know that her current partner also lost his former wife.
The relationship with her step-daughter was not that great. She told me they had many conflicts. After I took my measurements and looked thoroughly at the house and the surroundings, keeping in mind what she has told me, it was clear that there was a lot of clashing energy in the house related to generational conflicts.
Also, they had pictures of the deceased husband and wife in the living space. Even the urns were placed centrally in the living space. Also, in their bedroom there were pictures of the deceased.
It caught my attention that the backdoor was totally blocked with heavy furniture, and they used a sliding window to go to the backyard instead.
Everything was telling me that it was difficult to let go of the past and live in the present.
- I advised them to open up the backdoor and start using it again, as the measurement were also good.
- For the urn and pictures of the deceased, I selected an energetic quiet spot in the space they passed through to go upstairs. I gently asked them to move everything to the selected spot and also to remove the pictures out of their bedroom and replace them with a picture of something they would both love to do in the future.
- In the open living space and center of the house, I advised on a colour to neutralise the clashing energy.
It took my client some time but after she applied my advice and her friends came to visit, they said: "what have you done? It feels so much different in here and lighter." Also, she enthusiastically told me about the new plans they were making. Something shifted in a positive direction for them.
