Master Bente-Sølvi Toverød
Advanced Garden Design Course - Oslo
Garden design is a fascinating and highly practical branch of feng shui, particularly valuable for harmonising the chi of a property. In this course, you will learn specialised techniques based on both Sam Hap and Lap Yum principles.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to understand and assess the energy of any garden relating to the house, and you will know how to identify effective solutions to enhance beneficial energy and control negative influences.
This Advanced Garden Design course is developed by Grand Master Chan from his many years of self-disciplined research. It was taught for the first—and to date, only—time in 2019 in France. The course will now be offered in Norway by Master Bente-Sølvi Toverød.
Grand Master Chan has created beautifully designed easy-to-use handouts that are packed with information and ideal for using during garden consultations.
Course Structure:
• Day 1: Classroom teaching focused on learning and applying the new methods through case examples.
• Day 2: On-site consultation in a real garden setting, where you'll apply the new methods to create a design suited to the property and natural surroundings.
• Day 3: Back in the classroom, we will evaluate and explore the detailed aspects of the garden design.
Number of places: 10
Attendance: The course is open to all Module C graduates. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As the number of places is limited, early registration is strongly recommended.
Registration closes on 6 April 2026.
About your teacher: Master Bente-Sølvi (GAR) holds a Chue Style Garden Design Master’s title in addition to being a professional landscape architect. She has studied Chue Style Feng Shui since 2005. She was personally designated in 2024 by Grand Master Chan himself to be Master of Chue Style Garden Design authorised to teach his specialised garden design course.
May in Norway is still spring, transitioning into early summer. This is an ideal time to visit the North, when the summer chi is fresh and vibrant. The days are long, with the sun setting only briefly around midnight, leaving the sky softly illuminated. In addition, currency rates have dropped significantly in recent years and are currently very favourable for international visitors.
Language: The teaching language will be either Norwegian or English, depending on the students’ language preferences.
